In North Carolina, trafficking in drugs is not sentenced under standard structed sentencing. Instead, it is sentenced according to N.C.G.S 90-95(h), with MANDATORY minimum sentences anywhere from 25 months to a minimum of 225 months, with maximum sentences up to 282 months (over 23 years).
